Provide automated services for server provisioning, infrastructure and related process automation. You will apply your knowledge on how to make large global infrastructure work based on your code. Provision resources like virtual machines across global environments. Translate end-user demand into meaningful pieces of automated process. Develop in infrastructure friendly programming language like Python, JavaScript, Angular or work with provisioning frameworks like Terraform, Ansible or Salt to codify application blueprints. Supervise ongoing health of the global service infrastructure and automation to avert disruptions.

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you can look forward to:

• Driving automation into our infrastructure.

• Provisioning and managing Infrastructure components & cloud services for application workload

• Provisioning application infrastructure components in multi cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and deploy the applications.

• Working with multiple large-scale automation projects ,including the end-to-end deployment of different platforms using IaC deployment

• Developing tools in support of versioning, release management, build, testing, deployment and configuration management.

• Working with engineering teams to propose features that solve recurring patterns of customer complaints

• Designing and implementing scalable, distributed, fault tolerant systems that satisfy sophisticated requirements.

• Supporting services before they go live, through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews

• Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and tracking availability, latency and overall system health

• Scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by suggesting changes that improve reliability and velocity.

• Crafting, implementing, and supporting deep and detailed monitoring across the DevOps pipeline including operational telemetry for our products/platforms.

• Working and continuously improving the DevOps CI/CD pipeline to provide active management of the continuous integration/continuous deployment processes. (Jenkins, GIT, Nexus)

• Ensuring solutions are built to best practices and patterns for application development and integration.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

• 8 years of combined experience in programming, especially with JavaScript, Python and Java.

• Scripting experience with Bash, Powershell and/or Python.

• Experience with Ansible and Terraform.

• Experience with VMware vSphere/vRealize infrastructure (vRA/vRO)

• Experience with software defined storage, NSX-V/T

• Experience with container technologies in a production environment (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Expert with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github.

Nice to have:

• Experience with developing and working with containerized applications and Linux operating system.

• Experience in programming, especially with Angular, Flask, or Django.

• Experience developing and managing RESTful API services.

• Provisioning application infrastructure experience in multi cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
