Built Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Built for Contractors integrations team. This high-growth division of Built is focused on bringing multiple new products to market over the next year, with a focus on third-party integrations to make our products an indispensable part of our customers' workflows. The Built for Contractors division is akin to a startup within Built, iterating quickly and building new organizational capabilities. We're looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our team and organization.


  • Builds well-tested integrations into 3rd party APIs using Typescript, Nestjs, Graphql
  • Provides thoughtful code reviews and feedback for peers
  • Collaborates with peers on solutions to problems
  • Documents workflows to encompass a given integration's set
  • Works with team members to meet both technical and business goals
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with CS and product

Skills, Experience & Education:

  • 3+ years of professional working experience with Typescript and modern Typescript packages, tooling, development, and testing
  • 1+ years experience in Python (Nest.js and React preferred)
  • A strong focus on our customers, both internal and external
  • A dedication to the quality and ownership of your work product
  • Experience with code reviews
  • Self-driven learner
  • Willingness to seek help from more senior team members
  • Experience working with 3rd party APIs

Preferred Skills

  • AWS background
  • Graphql experience
  • Dynamodb experience
  • Experience with pub/sub models
  • Experience with third-party integrations tools such as Workato
  • React experience

Built's salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees.
